Dumfries and Galloway is known as Scotland’s best kept secret with over 200 miles of coastline, pretty towns, charming villages, beautiful hills and a great network of touring roads to discover all the hidden treasures in Dumfries and Galloway. What better way to do this than to own your own holiday home in the area.
The landscape of Dumfries & Galloway is awe inspiring come spring, summer, autumn or winter.
The area offers unspoilt natural beauty and colour all year round. Perfect if you just like to relax or if you enjoy taking part in adventurous/outdoor activities. An amazing backdrop for both.
Dumfries and Galloway is also easy to reach, being near the English border. A four hour drive from Manchester or Leeds, three hours from Newcastle and three hours from Edinburgh.
Port William being particularly close to Stranraer and Cairnryan where there are approx 20 crossings per day to Belfast and Larne respectively where you could discover Northern Ireland or just go shopping for the day!
All this could be yours to explore, all year round, if you owned your own holiday home by the sea at West Barr. No need to book, just come and go as you please, home from home!
